En Zhou magical stones are produced in the mountains in Enping, Guangdong Province from tuffaceous slates of the stratum of the Cambrian system that could date back to 500 million years ago.
Enping, the hometown of En Zhou magical stones, embraces green mountains and crystal rivers as well as magical stones. Our stones are soft, delicate and flexible with varied colors and textures. Their colors range from being purple, grey, red, to yellow and green; their categories range from green dragon, huona, green eye to green veil and color stripe; some of the stone skin are as red as guava skin, some as yellow as frost leaves, some as green as plantain, some as yellow-spotted as tiger stripe, some as green as Gu Yi device….It touches soft like tender skin and when knocked creates a sound like gold being knocked. Tested by such authoritative institutions as the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources of Guangdong Experiment Center and Life Science Academy of Beijing University as well as scientists from Japan, USA, etc, En Zhou magical stones contain 26 minor elements that are beneficial to human body, and have the unique function of constantly releasing massive negative ions and micro infrared so that they are called “Gem Stone”. According to historical records, in early Jiaqing of Qing Dynasty, some folks explored spread En Zhou magical stones to use them as ink-stone and as tribute called tea pit inkstone. But later they disappeared for various reasons. At the end of the 20th century, Mr. Zheng Zuannong, a geological engineer, re-explored the stones and named them “En Zhou Magical Stones” after years of hardship and efforts. Later owing to his perseverance, he recruited skillful craftsmen who were able to exquisitely carved the stones according to their textures, giving each stone its art theme so that En Zhou magical stones were sublimated artistically both in taste and content.

The shape of the stone materials is square or oval, the sculpture assuming colors, the pattern flowery or edged.
